La Vardera Book   This is a hybrid typeface bridging between a text face and a display face. The capitals are quirky and ornamental, yet their serifs read well at small text sizes. The lowercase are uniform and disciplined in comparison the caps and lend themselves to comfortable reading. Equally at home in a headline or a paragraph La Vardera Book lends an eccentric personality to a printed piece.   Design notes: La Vardera Book is structured by the Golden Section, an ancient proportioning system used in architecture. It was used to regulate the height and width of characters and the proportion of different elements within the letter forms.
