Updates: Here we will post a description, and a direct link to what is new on the site. If you visit again check in here to see what has been added.
19Jul2003: Project 0099 has made great progress since the last time we updated the page for this project. All of the older photos we have shown of the facade of the Montessori School are still here on the site so you can compare the progress to last time. When you go to the page look for the links below the most current picture. These will give you a good idea of how the school used to look. All of the new windows are now in and the school has been completely reclad with new cementitious siding. Have a look.
15Jun2003: Greg was nominated a "Nice Modernist" by Dwell Magazine for the July/August 2003 issue! It is a very nice honor. The coverage in the magazine consisted of a full page photo of Greg at his work station and a description of his activities on Dwell Magazine's internet message board. It was a very flattering article and Greg is proud to have been recognized. Go out and get your own copy now!
We have added a new page with news releases. Jump right there.
3Feb2003: We have added a new section to the Notes portion of the site. There is a new topic on Architectural Design and Theory. Here you will find some works and writings which are more conceptual. We have started it off with Greg's essay which appeared in Progressive Architecture Magazine in 1992. You will also find a page dedicated to Greg's entry in the Astronaut Memorial Competition from 1987. Moved by the tragic destruction of the Shuttle Columbia this past weekend, we decided it would be a good time to post this past work. Go straight there.
11Dec2002: A progress picture for project 0099 has been posted. The last of the new windows are going in and the school is showing a new face to the world. See it here.
7Nov2002: Big update this time.
We have opened a whole new "wing" on our web site, and potentially our business. In place now is the frame work for a large extension to our web site dedicated to selling stock plans of uniquely designed homes. This is in response to unserved demand for contemporary design in the stock plans industry. It will be some time before we develop a selection of plans, but in the meantime we are launching the site. There will be a more formal announcement when this part of the site is filled out and marketing begins in earnest. Meantime, spread the word. Take it all in here.
First Project 0111, the victorian home addition is nearing completion and we have posted some photos which really show how it will look when it is complete. It is worthwhile going back and looking at the design drawing posted on the main page, and also the very first construction photos. Here are the latest pictures.
Check out our focus on 3d Modeling in the Notes section of the web site. We have been pioneers in using 3d software in our practice from the very beginning. Our facility with computers enabled us to apply these technologys to our projects at a time when many firms were still getting their feet wet with Cad. We are pretty proud of that and we wanted to share some of the other things we have done and are doing with 3d software, all of which makes our skills with designing buildings sharper. Take a look.
15Aug2002: Project 0111, the beautiful victorian home addition is moving right along. We have just started our second page of construction photos. Make sure you take a look at both and scroll down to see what the house looked like when the work began. A remarkable transformation is taking place! See the latest construction photos here.

26June2002: Now complete and open for patients is a new Radiology suite at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. As we mentioned below we are very proud of the interior design work for this project. Working with the limited palatte of materials demanded by the medical use of the project Karen has put together that interesting match of color which is really her signature. We have posted a number of pictures so you can get a good sense of the variety of spaces and how the finishes and pattern tie them all together. See the page here.
20May2002: We would like to introduce our first pages dedicated to Typeface Design. We had promised these when the site was first created in 2000 and have finally been able to put this together. You will find it linked in the Notes section of the site along with some other areas which will be developed in the future.
14May2002: Now under construction is a new Radiology suite at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. We are very proud of the interior design work for this project. Greg is really excited about the cool floor pattern that Karen designed for this project. Karen has come up with a rich assortment of colors and textures. Even working with the limited palatte of materials demanded by the medical use of the project she has been able to put together that interesting match of color which is really her signature. See the page here.
Project 0111, an addition to a beautiful victorian home is a new page on our site. Featured on our home page with its dumpster we will follow this one through construction. The first step is the removal of materials that will not remain in the completed project, otherwise known as in construction as demolition. For most homeowners though I think it feels like the destruction before construction! Take heart, good things are to come.
Also new on the site is an update of the Montessori Academy of New Jersey, project 0099. We are trying to capture the tactile qualities of the Montessori teaching materials in the interior of the school. See what it is all about.
