Here is an overview of the side of the house that would face your view. There would be steps to the ground from the out door deck levels which have not been modeled yet. You would approach the house from the opposite side and walk around this deck to the door (which is open in this view) at roughly the center of the image. The large window areas will be reworked which will make them a bit more similar to the large windows in our other designs.

A cross section view - this shows you the profile of the house which is the same across its length. The deep overhangs are meant to control day light. They give shade during the summer and allow low winter light into the house.

An overview (in place of a floor plan). Starting at the far left is the master bedroom, and the master bath just to its right. The next space over is the kitchen - cabinets are not modeled yet - and it has a table area in its own window bay. Next over is the living room which has a little balcony like deck and its own bay window area, and there is a wood stove in a niche formed by the two coat closets. When this is finalized we will open up the space between the kitchen and the living room a little bit - they are too separate. The entry is the next space and you can see the front door in this view. The next small room is a bathroom, and in the front corner is what I will call the bunk room as its meant to hold up to 4 children, or guests if you use bunks - it can also simply be a bedroom, guest room, or home office. The narrow room behind is the utility/laundry room which has its own side door.

The Plat House

This is another preview of a design in progress that we have posted in response to an inquiry. The model is not complete and the design has not been finalized but these three progress images will give you a good idea of the nature of this house.

It is called the plat house because most of the interior space is open to the view side as if the entire house is one big deck. This is based on a guest house I worked on in 1995 and which I am updating to offer as a stock plan. There were never complete drawings done back then, so it is being recreated from the ground up.
